How do I email a report?

The following article explains how to send an email message containing a report. There are two ways to configure this. You can send the report immediately, or you have the report(s) sent to you on a regular interval.

To send a report immediately, please follow these steps:

1. Login to the SmarterStats Interface.
   
   
2. From the side menu, select a Report.
   
   
3. Under Tasks, click Send to Email.
   
   
   
4. Enter the requested information:
   • To: enter the recipient of the email
   • CC: enter additional recipients of the email
   • Subject: enter a subject for the email
   • Message: enter the body of the email
   • Email Format: select a format for the email, Plain Text or HTML + Plain Text
   • Charts: choose whether or not to send the charts in HTML emails
   
   
   
5. Click Send Email.

To send the reports on a regular schedule, please do the following:

1. Login to the SmarterStats Interface.
   
   
2. From the Settings menu select My Email Reports.
   
   
   
3. Click Add Email Report.
   
   
   
4. Enter the requested information:
   • Report: select the report from the drop down
   • Frequency: select the frequency of the email from the drop down
   • To: enter the recipient of the email
   • CC: enter additional recipients of the email
   • Subject: enter a subject for the email
   • Message: enter the body of the email
   • Email Format: select a format for the email, Plain Text or HTML + Plain Text
   • Charts: choose whether or not to send the charts in HTML emails
   
   
   
5. Click Save.

If you have created a custom report, you will have the option of emailing the custom report on a regular schedule. The custom report will appear in the list of Reports.
