How do I utilize the Global Address List?

The following article explains how to utilize the global address list. The global address list contains a list of each user that is setup for the domain, similar to the contact list. The global address list can be used to quickly send a message to a user in the domain, view information about the user, or export the users. The global address list is available to all users in the domain.

To utilize the global address list, please follow these steps:

1. Open a browser window and go to one of the following URLs:
   • http://mail.yourdomainname.com
   • http://mail#.safesecureweb.com (this address is provided in the setup email)
2. Login using your email address and password.
3. From the Folders section on the left, expand Contacts.
   
   
   
4. Click Global Address List.
   
   
5. To send an email to a specific user, click new message.
6. To view a users profile, click the username.
7. To export the contacts, expand the Actions menu and click Export All Contacts.
   
   
8. To export specific contacts, check the contact(s), expand the Actions menu and click Export Selected Contacts.
